Allison Bajet, who often goes by Ally, a 21 year old student at USC. She’s from San Jose, California, where she attended Presentation High School, a private Catholic girls’ school where she ran track and field and graduated in 2011.
Ally has a 9-year-old brother, whose birthday was on Oct. 14. Their birthdays are very close, as Ally just turned 21 on Oct. 22.
The thing that really stands out about Ally from her online presence is her love of nature. At USC, she is a guide for SC Outfitters and was on the Environmental Student Assembly’s Earth Month Committee. She’s good at rock climbing, backpacking and camping. To aid her in these endeavors, she is certified as a Wilderness First Responder, and CPR and First Aid certified.
Ally is a print and digital journalism major at USC, where she transferred beginning in spring 2013. Before that, she attended California State University, Northridge. At USC, she has worked for the Daily Trojan and been published on Neon Tommy. This summer she interned at the Nashville Post. She drove to Nashville to intern, taking a roadtrip through five states. Her academic interests aren’t solely limited to journalism, however. She also enjoys coding and is taking a ceramics class this semester.
Ally has also worked as a studio manager at Lisa DeNeffe Photography, a trip guide and rock wall instructor at Outdoor Adventures and a lifeguard and swim instructor at Decathlon Sports Club, Harker School and Bellarmine Prep High School. THough her native language is English, she knows a limited amount of French, Spanish and sign language.
Ally appears to enjoy traveling. In addition to the Nashville road trip, she also traveled to Barcelona in March and was in Portland in February
Some other fun facts about Ally are that her uncle has a farm, her aunt runs marathons, she loves Chaco sandals, she has eaten fried avocado, she plays blues harmonica, she likes to cook , she owns a GoPro and she owns two slacklines.
Though I was able to find out all these things about Ally, her online presence is actually pretty limited. Logged out of Facebook, her account didn’t come out when I googled her. Most of the information I learned about Ally was actually from two sources: her LinkedIn Account and her Instagram. Though an avid Instagrammer, Ally doesn’t seem to be a big fan of Twitter as the account of hers I could find only had six tweets.
